You are invited to attend the 57th Annual Maize Genetics Conference. The Conference will be held March 12-15, 2015, at the Pheasant Run Resort of St. Charles, Illinois, USA.

The Conference will open with a Thursday evening meal, March 12 and close at noon Sunday, March 15.

Join researchers in St. Charles, to:

  • Listen to invited talks in genetics and plant biology given by internationally renowned scientists
  • Learn the most current scientific and technical advances in maize genetics
  • Participate in broad subject area sessions to stimulate new ideas that you can share with your lab

The McClintock Prize awardee:

The 2015 McClintock Prize was awarded to Prof. Susan Wessler of the University of California at Riverside in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the field of plant transposable element biology. Prof. Wessler will present her work at this year's Maize Genetics Conference.

Special session: Maize Genome Editing

Organizer: Dave Jackson, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
Invited speakers will discuss recent successes with genome editing in maize using Crispr, and additional short talk abstracts are encouraged to be submitted under the Genome Editing research topic.
